- Poverty and service delivery: benefits, tax credits and employment services – Joseph Rowntree Foundation (April 2007- April 2008). This research will review systematically the available evidence base on service delivery problems and solutions with a particular focus on the views and front line experiences of service users.
- ‘Welfare Markets’: lessons from contracting out welfare to work programmes in Australia and the Netherlands – Joseph Rowntree Foundation (December 2007-June 2008). This project will systematically review and assess recent research findings on the impact of the ‘welfare markets’ in Australia and the Netherlands.
